Windows Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install your ALFA AWUS036ACS adapter on Windows systems.

Installation Steps

1. Download the official drivers from ALFA Network website

2. Extract the downloaded driver package

3. Run the installer package as Administrator

4. Complete the installation wizard

   • Follow all on-screen instructions
   • Accept the driver installation prompts if Windows asks for permission

5. Restart your computer

6. After the system has fully restarted, plug in your ALFA AWUS036ACS adapter

7. Windows should automatically recognize the device and complete the setup

Verification

To verify successful installation:

1. Open Device Manager (Press Win + X and select Device Manager)
2. Look for "Network adapters"
3. You should see "ALFA AWUS036ACS" listed without any warning symbols

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues:

1. Driver Not Recognized

   • Uninstall the device from Device Manager
   • Remove the adapter
   • Restart computer
   • Reinstall drivers
   • Plug in the adapter after driver installation
